The Amanti Bass
The first of these was made for Ronnie Scott’s in 2012 as their “house” bass and is still going strong.
It is a faithful copy of a the famous bass owned by Ray brown. It was bought for him by his then wife Ella Fitzgerald, the bass went on to be used on many great Oscar Peterson albums.
The Amati model is made only to order in the Bass Place workshop in London. The finest tonewoods are hand carved and only the best hardware fitted.
